The hike up to Talež is a quick and easy route that can be completed in 30–45 minutes, making it perfect for a short workout after work. At the top, you’ll find a larger hunting lodge with fantastic views of Bled, Radovljica, and the surrounding valley. We often hike up to Talež to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery.
How to hike up to Talež
The hike up to Talež starts at Ribenski Most (Riben Bridge), where there is space to park your car or bike. From there, follow the wide path up into the forest. Unlike most hiking trails in the area, this path is not officially marked, so pay attention as you go. At any crossroads, make sure to follow the trail that continues uphill. Near the top, the path turns right toward the Talež hunting lodge—this turn can be easy to miss, so keep your eyes open.
In the app, you can view the trail highlighted on a map by selecting Hiking Directions in the top-right menu.
From the lodge, you get a beautiful view of much of Gorenjska (Upper Carniola), including Bled, Radovljica, and Mount Stol with the entire Karawanke range.
